The "TEAM" in Team Karst.
Our members bring a variety of talents to the group. Advanced divers, chemists, pilots, boat captains, engineers, doctors, and mountaineers are all part of Team Karst.
Chuck Actor: Full cave, trimix, mechanical engineer. Active in the lens system as a "first-entry" diver. Will soon get the u/w photography into the digital age.
Rich Camden: Full cave, normoxic trimix, electrical engineer. Our newest member of the team.
John Capp: Intro to cave, boat captain, mechanical engineer. John is our "front man", paving the way towards good local public relations. Due to much of this work, all of the Sweeting's Cay sites remain open to the Team.
John Parkes: Full cave, normoxic trimix, electrical engineer. Been to Sweetings Cay only once; has since gotten his NSS/NACD cave training.
Gary Stamm: Basic cave, NSS Cave Recovery Specialist, Abe Davis award, manufacturing engineer. Gary discovered the "easy" entrance into Lucy's and led the way thru what is now known as the Stamm passage. With his keen sense of smell, Gary is the team "canary", sniffing out bad fuel tanks, overloaded compressor filters, and other airborn mayhem.
Chris Winfree: GUE cave 2, normoxic trimix, surgeon. Not having yet to use his physician talents, we currently rely heavily on his abilities as a GUE trained and configured cave diver.
David Winfree: NACD full cave, trimix, pilot. All of the underwater photography shown on this web site taken by David, unless noted specifically. None of the aerial shots however, as he is busy flying the plane.
Nancy Winfree: NACD intro to cave, chemist and material scientist. Present on virtually every trip, Nancy performs most of the provisioning, plus acts as a rather vocal cave "judge" (gives Aquarius a 1, Asgard an 8).
Chuck and friends at the "All Ages School".
School's out and we are havin' fun.
